The Judge Said Yes!
After 3 hours of major questioning, the judge said yes! I thought it was pretty tough but didn't really know if that was the way it usually went or not. It wasn't! The judge really went over everything with a fine tooth comb. I'm just glad I didn't realize it was going very badly until it was all over! Anyway, we're off to the baby home - I'll write more later!

ReplyDeleteSo Excited for you and Norah!! What a luck little girl. She has a wonderful MOM!!
ReplyDeletecongratulations!!! when we had our court (we adopted from kaluga also) it was 2 hours. we waited longer than the actual questioning went on. i bet they are being a little more "detailed" because of recent events. i'm sure it was nothing with you personally. but all that matters is that she said YES and you are that much closer to having your daughter home with you.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! I was going to try and contact you but no email opportunity. I look forward to hearing more of Kaluga and your experiences as a single adopting there recently since it is one of my top regions.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! So happy to hear she said yes!!!
